As you would have read in my first post on this challenge, my first bag of beans was a bag of the signature blend from Costa Coffee. As a regular Costa Coffee drinker, I was pretty sure I'd enjoy these, and I did.
Now it was time to choose my next bag. A £50 voucher from Harvey Nichols landed my way and it just begged to be spent on coffee. I quick look over their website lead me to their house blend and I put in an order.
It was pricier than my usual coffee at £7.95 for 200g, but I'm looking forward to giving it a try.
Verdict
I have to say, I did not enjoy them as much as I had hoped. Although they were fine and perfectly drinkable, I found them slightly more bitter than other offerings. Though to be fair that may be down to my coffee making skills...
